OOTD: I'm cold but I tough it out

January 21, 2012
It's Saturday, but I got a lot of errands on my list.  So I can't help but slacked a bit in the outfit department.  My go-to comfy outfit is always sweatshirt + leggings/jeggins (I tend to buy long sweatshirts).  Here you'll see two of my favourite fashion finds of 2011 in action (yay)!

Can you see the "fog"/"smoke"/"I-don't-know-what-it's-called"?
Sweatshirt: Forever 21 Minnie Muse sweatshirt from 2010
Leggings: American Apparel Winter Leggings (favourite fashion find 2011)
Bag: Grey Focco from eBay
Boots: UGGS Grey Classic Cardy (favourite fashion find 2011)

I got the Minnie Muse sweatshirt back in 2010.  It was the last one on display.  I left my contact info with them and they called me to let me know when they change the mannequin display.  I love wearing with leggings and jeggings.  On some chilly summer days, I would wear it with shorts too =P.  Here's a clearer shot of the shirt

Eyes: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow in Pomegranate Punk on the outer half,
and Bold Gold in the inner half/inner corner of the lid,
L'Oreal Infaillible Eyeshadow in Hourglass Beige to set Bold Gold
and Endless Chocolat to define the crease,
MAC Blanc Type as highlight, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Pencil in Perversion as liner,
MARCELLE Lengthening & Curling Mascara, and
Eyemazing Sweer Ribbon Series False Lashes No. 304
Face: Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse MakeupBobbi Brown Corrector in Peach,
Kett Cosmetics Colorless Setting Powder, and Benefit Hervana Box O' Powder
Lips: Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate

Look!  The grey focco comes with bronze stud! <3
Let's face it, I don't think I'm going to be all dressed up every waking hour or every time I go outside.  This is a very comfy and laidback combo for winter.  I think since it has an off-shoulder "option", it gives a more feminine twist.  I know it's kind of one tone, it's my fashion habit to break, but I really like dark grey and black!  So the spotlight piece is, naturally, the grey focco, which has a lilac-ish beige tone to it.

Do you have a go-to comfy outfit combo?  Is there other comfy but presentable outfits that I should look into?  Let me know =).

I love this look! it's my favourite since I'm still in university I rely on these types of outfits alot!! and you look super cute :)
I'm looking into buying a purse like yours on eBay I was wondering if you think it would be big enough for a binder and stuff, you know basically for university?

  2. Hey girl!  Thanks!  I think I still have the university student in me, I tend to go for these type of outfit too whenever I'm feeling lazy lol.

In terms of the bag, it depends how big your binder is.  My 1" and 1.25" can fit in no problem (but it kind of straighten it out, if you know what I mean).  I have also used it for my notebooks and notes from work, so I'd say it works for me =).  I have both the black with strap and grey without strap one.  I think that the pleather on the black one is softer than that on the grey one.  I also find that the strap has been REALLY useful, for me at least.  The grey one is a lilac-ish beige/grey colour, but that's only for the no-strap option.  If you get the strap, the seller said it's more grey and no lilac undertone to it.  I hope this helps!
