5 Fall Neutral Lip Colours I'm Gonna Wear This Year

It's officially Fall time! There's something about Fall that makes me want to change absolutely everything... about my wardrobe, my colour palette... everything! It might be just the shopaholic in me talking. I always say, the easiest way to change up your look is trying out a new lip colour. While I was all about bright lipsticks and tinted lip balm this Summer, I'm ready to wear some dark tone neutrals for the colder seasons. Here's my Fall neutral lipstick roster this year...
L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire in 500 Molto Mauve (CA $12.99 / US $9.99) is a favourite from last year. You all know how much I love the Colour Riche Extraordinaire formula (if not check out my original review here). Mauvey colours are especially my jam this time of the year, because they warm up my complexion when I'm otherwise pale (like 2 shades paler than Summer :/). Step back my-lips-but-better, mauve wins in Fall.

Lancôme Rouge in Love in 200B Rose Thé (CA $32 / US $29) is a nude pinkish brown colour. It is apparently one of Penelope Cruz favourite shade, which may or may not be the sole reason I bought this lipstick (lol). It glides on your lips and has high coverage. It has satin creamy to matte finish, in that it is not a flat colour and it still has some shine. It's also quite comfortable on the lips.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl (CA $38 / US $32) was my most recent purchase. The colour is a rosy brownish berry; it's neutral but sultry. This "modern-matte" lipstick (imagine matte with just a bit of shine from within) goes on smoothly and it feels comfortable on the lips (it is said to have orchid extract to help soften the lips). I'm really loving this shade for Fall, even the man likes it too (I purchased this with his blessings, not that I need it :P).

CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick in 250 Sultry Sienna (CA $8.99 / US $6.99) is a more budget friendly rosy brownish colour. The CG Colorlicious range is really impressive. They feel smooth and nice on the lips, and they have great colour payoffs. On top of that they are infused with shea butter to make it comfortable to wear. This shade in particular is one of those colour that can go with any look. Moisturizing, foolproof and inexpensive, no complaints at all.

Shiseido Perfect Rouge in PK 354 Cocoa Rose (CA $30 / US $25) is a new addition to their existing range. It's basically a can't-do-no-wrong pinky nude. It has a creamy lacquer finish and a opaque coverage. It's also quite hydrating (you may notice I don't really like tight feeling lips that much if I can choose). I think this shade will suit many different skin tone too. But I'm kind of cheating here, because I reckon it just works in every season XD.
