It's officially Fall time! There's something about Fall that makes me want to change absolutely everything... about my wardrobe, my colour palette... everything! It might be just the shopaholic in me talking. I always say, the easiest way to change up your look is trying out a new lip colour. While I was all about bright lipsticks and tinted lip balm this Summer, I'm ready to wear some dark tone neutrals for the colder seasons. Here's my Fall neutral lipstick roster this year...

Happy Thanksgiving to all you Canadians out there! Hopefully you get to spend some time with your family during this long weekend... And maybe stuffed by the stuffed turkey... get it?

While I didn't have a family-full weekend, I did manage to spend some quality time with my beau (he is family too). And I didn't forget about the two person feast: we got a rotisserie chicken and I am making some kale salad, some mash, a main with squash and quinoa for tonight :D.

Another thing that I didn't forget is Thanksgiving makeup! The day that I'm obliged to wear cranberry eyeshadow, and that's what I did. I pull out my Dior 5-Couleurs Couture Colours & Effects Eyeshadow Palette in Trafalgar (CA $61 / US $60) for this occasion.

How would you categorize your day to day makeup? For me, it has definitely become more neutral in the past few years. I rarely do bold looks nowadays, part of it is because of my work, and part of it is just I'm kind of scared of it.

I have had this crochet dress since early summer (first instagram'ed here), but I still haven't had a chance to wear it until yesterday. I'm glad it got some use on the first day of fall :). It was quite chilly outside, so I threw my chambray shirt on and put on these Forever 21 leggings (they are so darn comfortable and warm). Huge shout out to Emily from THISWASFOREVER, who helped me got the Mini Satchel from the coveted 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection! I'm loving it!

Since it's officially Fall, I have to start shopping for winter leggings and tights. I need to be more prepared this coming Winter because if history was to repeat itself, I won't have the time to do that when January rolls around. I got some great deals from Forever 21 last year, hopefully they will bring back those thermal lined tights :). Where is your favourite place to shop for leggings and tights?
