IMATS LA was not only a great experience (read about it here), but also a great place to shop for your beauty products and tools!  This year, I did not have a shopping list, or a budget.  I decided to wing it and just buy whatever that intrigues me.  Luckily, I did not bring enough cash, so I did not overspent lol.  And here are my goodies. =D

It actually wasn't that bad consider that I can fit them all into a small reusable bag that I got from Nigel Beauty Emporium =P.  Let me break it down for ya...

Base:

Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Warm Beige
I have always wanted to try foundations by Bobbi Brown. I was looking for the Natural Long Lasting Finish one, but they didn’t have it in my shade, so I got the Foundation Stick instead. But hey, 40% off Bobbi Brown doesn’t come by all that often... Okay, maybe twice a year at IMATS LA and IMATS NYC lol.

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil in ATF
Stacey and Jessica were raving about this concealer, which you can guess what happened next... Yep, I bought it too... They were also having 40% off, so yay!

My IMATS LA haul can fit into a small reusable bag... It's really not that bad...

I might be on a lash mode lately (as seen in here).  Not that I would wear them every day, but I would really like to try them, you know, to find the perfect pair!

Last year, I learn that Emi Suzuki, a famous Japanese model, has become the spokemodel for Decorative Eyelash's newest series - Playgirl.  Decorative Eyelash is a Japanese drugstore brand of lashes by Sho-Bi.  Sho-Bi is also known as the parent company for Diamon Lash and Brigitte Cosmetics (a new brand of make up highly featured in Japanese fashion magazine Vivi).  They have been around for a long time, but recent revamped their entire line-up and came up with the Playgirl series.  I really wanted to try them, but back then there was no seller that would ship to Canada, and not cost a fortune.

Until now, I found out that they're available in Hong Kong and I can't wait to ask my brother to help me get them.  But here's the problem... I don't know which ones to get!  Note: ALL images from http://www.sho-bi.jp/decorative/

The Playgirl series features 12 pairs of lashes (8 pairs of upper lashes and 4 pairs of lower lashes).  It's quite an extensive line up in one series in my opinion.  First let's take a look at these gorgeous lashes:

Play Cute series:

Play Cute #1 is designed to not block the view of your iris.  It also has some small crisscross to provide a dolly look.  Note that these come in black bands.

Loads of Decorative Eyelash, which one should I choose? Help!

I have been really into lashes lately.  Almost every week, I'll use them one day.  (I can't really wear it to work 'cause I don't have that much time lol.)  Before, I have only liked MAC and Koji Dolly Wink Lashes before.  Since my last Pinky Paradise purchase, I have been enjoying lashes even more.  Here are a few that I have been loving...

Eyemazing Sweet Ribbon Series No. 303
Eyemazing Sweet Ribbon Series No. 303
This is my absolute favourite.  They are half lashes so they're super easy to apply and surprising comfortable!  I just love them.  I got mine from PinkyParadise.com but I have seen it on eBay as well =).

Although I don’t wear false lashes often, I have quite a few different pairs of them in my collection.  When I asked my friends to buy some more from Asia, one of my friends said: “You bought so many of them, but I’ve never seen you wear them”.  So this gives me a motivation to wear falsies more often.  And lately, my go-to is always Dolly Wink Lashes No.4 Feminine Style.

These have become my go-to false lashes because they are corner lashes, or accent lashes, if you will.  However, these go a little further in than the other corner lashes, but they’re not all the way into the outer corner.  This makes them ultra easy to apply (huzzah!).  They give pretty natural length and an extra oomph at the outer corner.  It might not be the most “volumizing” or doll-like lashes out there, but it gives just what I need.
